Introducing the second batch of our 100% Scottish wool.
Once upon a time, I was sat in my local cafe when I heard the owner discussing his sheep. We got chatting, and it turned out he had a few years of wool in storage and wasn’t sure what to do with it. This was just before our first batch of Scottish wool came back from the mill, and I already knew The Border Mill would be the perfect team to turn Dave’s wool into beautiful yarn.
Reared, sheared, and spun right here in Scotland, this wool is traceable and unique, all from one small holding less than 9 miles from Unaroo HQ. Enjoy the warmth and comfort of this local fibre, a celebration of Scotland’s woolly heritage.
This wool is 100% Zwartbles, 2-ply DK weight
100g skein is approx. 230 m/252 yds per 100g
500g skein is approx. 1,150 m/1,258 yds per 500g
